Information collected

The blog does not require you to register or create an account. When you visit, standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed and referring page is recorded by Blogger and by the services described below. If you leave a comment, your name or Google profile name and the comment text are stored by Blogger. Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Blogger and Google use cookies to run the blog, measure traffic and show ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may then not work as intended.

Google AdSense and advertising cookies

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this blog and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info. You can learn how Google uses data from partner sites at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a consent notice where required, and personalised ads are only served with consent.

Affiliate links and third-party content

Some pages show Amazon product widgets. If you click one and buy, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Embedded content such as GitHub Gists and images is served by third parties who may set their own cookies. I do not control those cookies.

Analytics

The blog uses the traffic statistics built into Blogger to see which posts are read. These statistics are not used to identify individual visitors.

Children

The blog is written for developers and is not directed to children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
